As the only designer on the team, I played a key role in elevating the user experience of Toucan's products, including a mobile app, lender dashboard, and landing page. Working with Non-Bank Financial Companies (NBFCs) in Singapore and Manila, Toucan leverages a data-driven approach to extend virtual credit accounts to the underbanked middle-class population. My responsibilities included designing a seamless and intuitive user experience, establishing brand guidelines, and implementing a consistent design system across all digital products to aid financial inclusion and enhance credit issuance.

I was also actively involved in user research while at Toucan, conducting face-to-face interviews and gathering valuable insights directly from our target audience. Despite working remotely from Indonesia, I made regular trips to Singapore to stay connected with the team and ensure the app's design aligned with user needs.

In addition, I also set the brand identity by defining the colour palette, selecting typography, and establishing a cohesive visual direction.
